Прах Плисецкой и Щедрина завещали развеять над Россией
Прах балерины Майи Плисецкой будет развеян над Россией вместе с прахом ее мужа, композитора Родиона Щедрина, в соответствии с завещанием артистки, которое она составила вместе с супругом.
Само завещание в 2015 году обнародовал занимавший тогда пост гендиректора Большого театра Владимир Урин, которого композитор ознакомил с документом.
«Тела наши после смерти кремировать, и когда настанет печальный час ухода из жизни того из нас, кто проживет дольше, или в случае нашей одновременной кончины, оба наши праха соединить воедино и развеять над Россией», — говорится в завещании.
Родион Щедрин и Майя Плисецкая поженились в 1958 году. Они познакомились в 1955 году на вечере у Лили Брик. Щедрин посвятил супруге ряд своих произведений, в том числе партитуру к балету «Конек-Горбунок». Они вместе работали над такими балетами, как «Анна Каренина», «Чайка», «Дама с собачкой», «Кармен-сюита». Плисецкая умерла 2 мая 2015 года.
Народный артист СССР Родион Щедрин скончался на 93-м году жизни после продолжительной болезни. Его творчество — оперы, балеты и симфонии — исполняется на крупнейших мировых сценах. Мариинский театр назвал его уход невосполнимой потерей для мирового искусства.
Щедрин, помимо балетов, создал оперы, в числе которых «Лолита», «Очарованный странник», «Боярыня Морозова», «Левша», «Рождественская сказка», а также более 150 камерных, хоровых и симфонических произведений, музыку для театра и кино.
Он родился 16 декабря 1932 года в Москве, учился в Центральной музыкальной школе и Московской консерватории, во время учебы он и написал Первую симфонию. В 1973–1990 годах возглавлял Союз композиторов РСФСР и избирался депутатом Верховных советов РСФСР и СССР.
Щедрин — лауреат Государственных премий СССР и России, номинант на «Грэмми», полный кавалер ордена «За заслуги перед Отечеством».
